Don’t fret fellow Cole geeks, Roc Nation‘s non-sex-tape-making frontrunner, is not suffering from a broken leg as intially reported. According to his rep, the 26-year-old rapper “badly, badly sprained” his ankle during a pickup game of basketball this past Saturday. After spending time in the emergency room, Cole tweeted to fans: “Ankle on swole. This is a minor setback, yo, still in all we livin…”
Cole will have to live with the unexpected hurdles of his injury however. According to his official Facebook page two upcoming Florida shows had to be postponed for later date: “Due to an injury sustained last night, J. Cole‘s shows originally scheduled for this weekend in Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale/Miami have been postponed. Orlando has been rescheduled for September 30. Ft. Lauderdale/Miami has been rescheduled for October 1. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
But we don’t expect the physical hindrance to slow up his promo trail. Cole’s much anticipated debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story drops September 27.
